"Those were the days" when money was tight. Got the green cheap. Not enough, what could I do to make a sweater for DD. Came up with this. Don't know if it worked. LOL
Patons Canadiana. Followed a pattern, with several variations.
Made from a Cottage Creations pattern. It said you could make it bigger by using heavier yarn but the proportions didn't work out exactly right. It's a UFO, still no buttons.
I made 6 or 7 of these, each different.
Figured the basic sweater out from one my DS got at a yardsale. Yarn: Lion Brand Woolease
Made this for my DD when she was about 11. She's 25 now. Used basic pattern and added eyelets and BW embossed hearts. Yarn is probably Patons Astra or other sport yarn.
Made about the same era as the white one. Mandy picked the colors.
Yarn is Patons Canadiana. A little headband too.
My first and only, so far, Elizabeth Zimmerman sweater.
Kaffe Fassett-like ribbing.lol
Some of the Fair Isle designs I made myself.
This was a plainer sweater that I added the roses to from another sweater I had made. Yarn: Patons Diana.
I picked these colors just for Mama. Her name was Rose, hence the flowers.
Zippered jacket weight item. Made with 2 strands of Patons Canadiana.
The only thing I changed on this was the colors.
